Client Cancellation Process

How coaches should handle a client who wants to pause or cancel.

Situation

Client reaches out about pausing or cancelling the program.

Step One

Coach should immediately text Sarah and send screenshots of the conversation for advice and next steps on how to handle the situation.

Step Two

Coach should immediately offer to get on a quick Zoom or phone call within the next 24–72 hours to uncover the real reasons they want to discontinue the program.

  • What part feels the most confusing or overwhelming right now?
  • What can we do to create a system where this feels easier for you?
  • How can we make this work with your life and schedule vs. cause more stress?

Important Note

It is the coach's responsibility to have these deep conversations with their clients and COACH them through their limiting beliefs, struggles, and behaviors. This person is where they are because of their mindset and behaviors. We need to help them see that if they continue living within that paradigm, they will never get the results they want.

Step Three

If the coach isn't able to save the client, they should escalate it to Savannah and send her all the context of the conversation, including screenshots of messages, so that she can reach out to them about their options.

Final Escalation → Savannah Peterson

Send full context and screenshots so Savannah can follow up about the client's options.
